The Japanese automaker Toyota is preparing the premiere of the compact crossover RAV4. So far, little is known about the new product, but experts have already compared it with Nissan Juke. A car developer will present a car not earlier than next year.
The Japanese company Toyota is working on the development of miniature RAV4. However, it was precisely such a car that was conceived initially. The first -generation RAV4 crossover saw the light 20 years ago, and even then its length totaled only 4.15 meters. And this, to be accurate, is only one and a half centimeters exceeds Nissan Juke megapopular today. The company’s developers plan to present a long -awaited novelty in a slightly different light. Judging by cars on the site, the fourth generation of the crossover differs from its predecessors with additional 50 centimeters length. Agree, with such and such parameters, it is difficult to call a miniature. And yet, the market has recently been more and more inclined to compact models, so the Japanese manufacturer decided not to get out of the total mass. At the moment, such a car is “sculpted” here – small and elegant. He will get an advanced modular platform called TNGA. Nothing is known about the characteristics of the model. But experts today focus on amazing similarities with Opel Mokka or Nissan Juke mentioned in terms of functionality. The novelty, according to preliminary forecasts, will compete with the Toyota Ist hatchback and can even replace it. The concept of a car will be presented only next year, and the date of its appearance on the market is not even discussed.
