Volkswagen announced the start of sales in Russia by the most powerful version of the Golf hatchback, which received the prefix R and a 300-horsepower engine. Official dealers have already begun to accept orders for a novelty.

Together with it, there is either a 6-speed manual gearbox, or a 6-speed pre-sequential robotic DSG. The debut of this car took place in the Frankfurt car dealership in September of this year. The car accelerates to one hundred kilometers per hour in 5.1 seconds from the manual transmission and in 4.9 seconds from DSG. The maximum speed of the new item is 250 kilometers per hour. In order to improve the dynamic characteristics of the car, engineers underestimated his suspension for fifteen millimeters and added special settings for him. The machine also received steering with sports characteristics and a system called ESC Sport, which has a function of complete deactivation in the track mode. In addition, the model has a constant full -wheel drive 4Motion.
Volkswagen Golf R is available in 2 color variations: Pure White (White) and Tornado (Red). There are also six different color shades available in the form of optional settings. The car is equipped with a windshield electric heating glass, a two-zone climate control, sports seats and their heating, leather steering wheel, bixenon headlights with LED daylight lights and exhaust system with four pipes.
